Electronics Index of Calvert

Electronics Index of Calvert

Many may already know about these EE Educational pages with Circuits of J. B. Calvert. These pages are valuable as they are like a summation of Important and Practical Sections in many EE Subjects. If you want to master the basics of EE, these pages will propel you in the right direction.

A Wealth of Information is at the site - Dr James B. Calvert Associate Professor Emeritus of Engineering, University of Denver and Registered Professional Engineer, State of Colorado. An EE-Encyclopedia Almost..

Handbook of Operational Amplifier Applications

OpAmp Handbook BB TI

These old publications, from 1966 and 1963, respectively, are some of the finest works on op amp theory that I have ever seen. Nevertheless, they contain some material that is hopelessly outdated.

This includes everything from the state of the art of amplifier technology, to the parts referenced in the document - even to the symbol used for the op amp itself:

ViPEC Network Analyzer

ViPEC is a powerful tool for the analysis of high frequency, linear electrical networks. It takes a schematic description of the electrical network and performs a linear analysis in the frequency domain.

ViPEC Network Analyzer

The output is in the form of port parameters (S, Y or Z) with results presented on a user defined grid, Smithchart or table. It can also be used to compute other characteristics like stability factors and group delay.

Induction Heating - Cooker Project

Single plate induction cooker demonstration board Uses ST7LITE09 and STGW40NC60WD (40 A, W series).

The design is entirely controlled by a simple ST7FLITE09Y0 8-bit microcontroller, which provides the PWM driving signals, communicates information to the user interface, and drives the fan and relay control to the plate feedback.
