IEC manages the 270-university Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association ECEDHA, dedicated to sharing information and maintaining awareness of industry needs and direction.

Today, the IEC maintains its mission as a partnership between academia and industry by providing quality continuing education, research, publications, and service programs for the international information industry.

The Demise or Renaissance of Classic Control

At the 2014 ECEDHA conference, held in Napa, Quanser conducted a focus group on the future of the conventional control systems lab. Quanser is well known for its motion systems and plants used in a wide range of control teaching and research applications.
